Delivery Policy
At Araaby E-shop, we are committed to delivering your purchases promptly and efficiently. Below are the details of our delivery process:
Delivery Areas: We deliver to the following areas
- Malé
- Hulhumalé
- Villingili Ferry Terminal
- Boats and Ferries
Boat Deliveries: Boat deliveries require 24-hour prior notice to ensure timely processing. When placing an order for delivery to a boat or ferry, please provide the following details:
- Name of the boat/ferry
- Schedule/timetable for the vessel
- Date & time of arrival
- Boat contact person & name
Failure to provide the required details may cause delay in delivery. Contact us directly via WhatsApp at 7264664 to coordinate boat deliveries.
Minimum Order Requirement: All orders must meet a minimum order value of 150 MVR.
Delivery Charges: We do not charge delivery fees. Delivery is free for all eligible orders.
Same-Day and Next-Day Delivery:
- Orders placed before 12:00 PM will be delivered the same day.
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be delivered the next day.
Delivery Times & Exceptions:
Delivery period depends on favorable weather and working days. While we strive to meet our same-day or next-day delivery timelines, unforeseen factors such as high order volume or adverse weather conditions may impact delivery schedules. Should this occur, we will contact you directly with an update.
Delivery Note Requirement:
Upon delivery, the Araaby E-shop delivery team will ask you to sign a delivery note to confirm receipt of the goods. Signing this delivery note is mandatory for the delivery to proceed. This ensures all orders are properly accounted for and reduces the chance of delivery-related disputes. By placing an order with Araaby E-Shop, you agree to the terms of this Delivery Policy.
Refund Policy
Araaby E-Shop do not provide refunds on items sold, except for items that have manufacturer defects or are damaged due to loading and unloading by our team.
At Araaby E-Shop, we do not offer returns; however, we process refunds under certain circumstances.
The following outlines the terms of our Refund Policy:
- Refund Eligibility: Refunds are considered only for the following circumstances:
- The item is damaged upon delivery.The item is defective or does not match the description provided at the time of sale.
- The item was delivered in error.
- Timeframe to Request a Refund:
- Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order.
- If the issue is related to damage, defect, or delivery error, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product.
- How to Request a Refund: To initiate a refund request, contact our customer support team via WhatsApp at 7264664. Please include:
- Your order number & a clear description of the issue
- Relevant photos of the item and or packaging, if applicable
- How Refunds are Processed:
- Bank Transfer Refunds (MIB): If the payment was made via Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) bank transfer, and a refund is approved, the refund will be processed within 24 hours.
- MIB Card Gateway Refunds: If the payment was made through the MIB card gateway, the refund will be requested to the original card used for the transaction. Please note:
- Refunds via the MIB card gateway typically take 5–7 business days to process, depending on the bank’s processing times.
- Compensation Determination: Refund eligibility and the method of compensation are assessed on a case-by-case basis by Araaby E-Shop. Decisions regarding refunds are final.
- Non-Refundable Items: Some items may not be eligible for refunds, including but not limited to personalized or custom-made goods. These exclusions will be noted at the time of purchase.
